Yes! I went down a playground slide in Heidelberg last October 31. It was a very wicked slide!! I crushed a vertebra and fractured my sternum. I was in the hospital there for a month. My three week vacation became a six week stay. I had excellent care at the Orthopädische Universitätsklinik. I’m doing well, but will be forever changed it seems. I have very fond memories of my trip (most of it) and am looking forward to returning sometime soon.
