Taking the plunge. . .

I’ve pondered the possibility of a blog for the past several years, waffling back and forth about whether I had anything to say that anyone else would want to read or see.  I’ve finally decided to just give it a whirl.  What you might see here is pretty varied, as are my hobbies and interests.  Books, knitting, photography, and digital scrapbooking are things that I’m passionate about.  I think you might just find anything here.  Stay tuned. . .

  1. Hello Abycat,
first off all I will thank you for your comment on my blog.
I try to answer in English and hope, your German is much better then my Schoolenglish 🙂
I found your blog this week and I love the combination from knitting and scrapbooking.
Since 2 Years I scrap cards, notebooks and albums. I try Project Life, but I don’t have the time to scrap so often and constantly.

  2. Tine, I’m sure that your English is better than my German. I can read and understand better than I can formulate thoughts to reply anymore. But I try. And Google Translate helps out some.

  3. That’s fine.
For this nice Trip I have no Tips for you. In Munich and Heidelberg are so many Standards you have to look, that Tips not necessary. Uelzen is nearer “Ruhrgebiet” but I know this town only from the freeway exit ramp 🙂
So I’m sorry, that I can not realy help. I wish you a wonderful and happy time with your son and with Germany of course.
    Tine
PS You and Google Translate are a great Team 😉
